Japanese Friendship Garden

  The cherry blossoms were in bloom when we visited the Japanese Gardens in Balboa Park.  They are so beautiful and we were so lucky to visit the right time of the year in the middle of March.

The gardens featured a coy pond with a couple of ducks.  It was a very peaceful park and there were lots of couples strolling through the gardens when we visited California.  Great place for date night if your a California local or a must see for tourists.

The Japanese Friendship Garden is 12 acres of beautiful landscaping and a great place to enjoy nature.

The Japanese Friendship Garden is located in Balboa Park, California which is filled with lots of great places to visit such as the San Diego Zoo, San Diego Museum of Man, Museum of Man, Botanic Building, Museum of Photographic Arts, San Diego Model Railroad Museum, and lots more.
