Hide and Scratch
My cats and I love pet product photography projects. Here’s a peak at out latest project of photographing Hide and Scratch cat boxes.
My cats love to curl up in these boxes and take a nap.
We got three boxes which were light blue, grey and black. The neutral color boxes fit well with most home decor. I wish we had six boxes, one for each cat since as you can see in the photo above they loved the boxes so much that they were fighting over them. My cats love modeling with new cat products especially since they get extra treats while being photographed.
My cats love cardboard cat scratchers and I really like the Hide and Scratch boxes because the box edges keep the shredded card board pieces inside of the box instead on falling on carpet.
Cats scratch when they play, to sharpen their claws, to relieve stress, and to mark their territory. If you don’t have a scratcher, your feline may direct this behavior onto your furniture instead. I used to have a really cute kids leather chair that I used as a prop to photograph small dogs, but my cats decided it was a scratching chair instead. They also destroyed my old leather desk chair. So now we have lots of cat scratch boxes and posts for the cats to scratch.
We also created a few fun cat videos showing my cats testing out their new Hide and Scratch boxes.
