Create Weekly: Week 8 – Product Photoshoot with Hide & Scratch
This week’s Create Weekly photo with my book Being Visual with Your Business is all about my favorite furry models! My cats took center stage as they enjoyed the latest toys from Hide & Scratch. We had such a great time photographing their new items, including the Hide & Scratch boxes, which my cats have used for years and still can’t get enough of. These boxes truly are the purr-fect cat scratcher: a cozy hideaway, a satisfying scratch zone, and a snug spot to curl up and relax. It’s everything a cat could want (and deserves), and my cats showed off every aspect of what makes these boxes so loved.
Alongside the boxes, Hide & Scratch has rolled out some fun new toys to add variety to playtime. We featured their Premium Silvervine Sticks with Gall Fruit Powder, Premium Catnip Leaves, and Silvervine and Catnip Rattle Balls, along with adorable catnip mice. My cats eagerly explored each new item, and it was a delight to capture their excitement as they sniffed, batted, and pounced around the studio. Each toy brought out a different playful or curious expression, making it easy to see how much joy these products bring to their day.
Capturing Moments with Feline Models
One of the best parts about photographing my cats is seeing their genuine enthusiasm and personalities shine through. Some were instantly drawn to the Hide & Scratch boxes for a quick scratch or a long nap, while others made a beeline for the new toys. Each cat brought a unique energy to the shoot, and it was pure fun to watch them interact, play, and pose. Catnip and silvervine toys always make for happy models and some great action shots! Gidget loves to jump and attack the catnip mice. Summer likes to curl up with the catnip mice.
