Hi, I’m Amanda Myers, the photographer behind A Style Photography. I’m a creative and versatile freelance photographer who captures the magic in both product photography and portraits of pets, kids, families, and events. I offer studio sessions, lifestyle shoots, and on-location photography that are relaxed, joyful, and full of fun.
After 20 years in Florida, I moved back to Troy, Missouri to be closer to my family and build my dream photo studio in a stunning location complete with a private lake, wide open skies, and blooming wildflower fields. It’s the perfect setting for lifestyle family photos, pet portraits, and any creative photo experience you can imagine.
Whether you prefer a cozy session in my studio or a photo shoot in your home, backyard, or favorite scenic spot, I’m happy to bring my camera to you. I also travel regularly for on-location sessions, so don’t hesitate to reach out if you have a special place in mind.

A Bit About My Background
Photography has been always been a part of my life with more than 30 years of pet photography experience and years spent in family and children’s portrait studios. I earned my Bachelor of Science in Photography from Central Missouri State University, along with minors in Art and Graphic Design. I spent 16 years working in a camera store, where I gained hands-on experience with cameras, lighting, photo equipment, and taught Photoshop and photography lessons.
Alongside my photography work, I’m a creative virtual assistant for a spiritual business coach, supporting visual content, branding, and creative projects. I currently offer photo restorations, video transfer services, private lessons, and custom photography services for families, pets, and businesses. I teach art classes at St. Alphonsus School, fulfilling a childhood dream of teaching and sharing creativity with others.
I’m a published author of Being Visual in Your Business, a book inspired by my work as a photographer and focused on visual marketing strategies that help businesses show up clearly and confidently through imagery.
Pets Are Family Too
My love for pet photography started with my aunt and her festive, costume-loving dogs. Today, I share my home with several rescue cats, including my favorite models, Dragon and Gidget. They make appearances in product shoots and bring a little fun to my photo studio.
Missouri, Florida, and Beyond
I’m based in Troy, Missouri, and serve nearby areas like Wentzville, St. Charles, Chesterfield, and the Greater St. Louis area. I also return to Florida several times a year to photograph loyal clients and host special pet photo events.
